Richard C. Bohrer, M.A.<\/em><\/h3>

Dick Bohrer is an expert in the strategic development of primary care services for underserved and vulnerable populations. He has a long relationship with the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and works as a consultant with Martin, Blanck & Associates. After a 34-plus year career in public health, he retired from the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) in 2004 as assistant surgeon general and director of the Community Health Center Program. This program now serves over 30 million people at over 12,000 community-based sites. As program director, Mr. Bohrer was responsible for implementation of a proactive population-based care management model that resulted in improvement of health center outcomes as well as partnerships with many national organizations.<\/p>

Mr. Bohrer is the first public health service officer to attain a two-star rank. He earned a B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College and an M.A. from the University of Minnesota.<\/p>

Dave Davis, M.D., CCFP, FCFP, FRCPC (hon)<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>

Dave Davis, former senior director of Continuing Education and Performance Improvement at the Association of American Medical Colleges; and currently professor emeritus, University of Toronto.<\/p>

Dr. Davis is recognized globally for his contributions to the development of continuing medical education (CME). Early in his 40-year career as a family physician, he chaired CME at a community hospital, subsequently moving to director and then chair of CME at McMaster University.\u00a0Following that, he joined the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine as associate dean of continuing education and founding director of the Knowledge Translation Program and chair of the Ontario Guidelines Advisory Committee.<\/p>

Dr. Davis\u2019 rigorous, outcomes-based focus on CME has been supported by numerous grants and has resulted in over 100 peer-reviewed articles, dozens of abstracts, chapters, and two widely acclaimed books. In collaboration with colleagues, his 1995 JAMA systematic review of the effect of CME interventions is widely considered seminal. Dr. Davis has led the Alliance for CME, the Society for Academic CME, and the Guidelines International Network. He earned his Bachelor\u2019s and medical degrees from the University of Western Ontario and completed his fellowships at the College of Family Medicine of Canada and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Robert B. Giffin, Ph.D., Chairman
<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>

Robert B. Giffin has over 30 years of experience in the health care field as an executive, researcher and educator. For 10 years he served as a global executive for Medtronic, leading clinical and economic development of medical devices. Prior to Medtronic, he served in leadership positions at the Medical Device Innovation Consortium, the National Academy of Medicine–where he led the Forum on Drug Discovery, Development and Translation and directed a major study on the Future of Emergency Care– at the Center for Medical Technology Policy.<\/p>

Dr. Giffin currently consults and serves as a mentor in the Northeastern University Innovation Corps program. He has taught as an adjunct lecturer at Northeastern University, George Washington University, Georgetown University and the National Naval Dental Graduate School. He received his doctorate in economics from Temple University and his B.A. from Washington University.<\/p>

John M. Jacocks, (Col.) M.D., M.T.M.H.<\/em><\/h3>\n

John Jacocks is Chief Flight Surgeon of the U.S. Army National Capital Region. He is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Jacocks was the senior medical officer for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, where he oversaw the operational and travel medicine programs with personnel deployed worldwide. He commanded a clinic in Germany, was deployed in Operations Desert Shield\/Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom and served as command surgeon for the
Army Test and Evaluation Command.<\/p>\n

Dr. Jacocks is an associate professor at the Georgetown University School of Medicine and is an instructor at Louisiana State University\u2019s Academy of Counter-Terrorist Education. He is a graduate of the Tulane University School of Medicine and has a Master\u2019s in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.<\/p>\n\n

Carrie Rich, M.S.H.A.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>

Carrie Rich is the CEO and co-founder of the Global Good Fund (GGF). Founded in 2012 by and for social entrepreneurs, GGF is based on the belief that investing in leaders is the best strategy for solving complex social problems and achieving global good. GGF was developed while she served as Senior Director of Vision Translation at the Inova Health System. Building on this vision, she went on to found and manage Global Impact Fund, a $10M venture capital fund that invests in companies led by social entrepreneurs with a preference for companies
led by people of color and women.<\/p>

Ms. Rich has authored articles on leadership development in Forbes, Entrepreneur, HuffPost, The Founder Institute, Under30CEO, and Philanthropy News Digest. Her fourth book, \u201cImpact The World,\u201d was published by Wiley in May 2022 and is now a Wall Street Journal and Amazon Best Seller. Recognitions of Ms. Rich’s accomplishments include 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year, POLITICO Women Who Rule award, Washington Business Journal 40 under 40, Entrepreneur.com Top 30 Start-ups to Watch, Stevie Award for Women in Business, Asian Social Innovation CEO of the Year, Social Enterprise Alliance 50 Under 40 and Impact 100.\u00a0Carrie\u00a0gives back by serving on several corporate and nonprofit boards including Trinity Health, and by volunteering in her local community.<\/p>

Beata H. Rosson, M.S.I.S, CPHIMS, PMP, Treasurer<\/em><\/h3>\n

Beata Rosson joined Atlas Health Foundation as a volunteer executive associate in April 2021 and joined the board as treasurer in August of 2022. Ms. Rosson is a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force with over 24 years of military experience in the hospital and health care industry, including management of health care operations, information technology, requirements operations and financial management. She currently serves as Senior Budget Operations Manager at the Defense Health Agency. Her prior assignments included Operations Officer at the Defense Health Agency Information Operations Directorate, Requirements Manager at the Air Force Medical Readiness Agency, and Chief Information Officer at Langley Medical Center. She has earned her Bachelor of Business Management Degree at the University of Phoenix and her M.S. in Information Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is a Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) and a

Joseph C. Sharpe, Jr., M.A.<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>

Joseph Sharpe is director of the American Legion Division of Employment & Education and Acting Director of the National Security Division. His earlier Legion responsibilities included Deputy Director of the Economic Division, Assistant Director of the Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation Commission, and Health Care Field Representative. He began his U.S. Army career as a drug and alcohol counselor with the 2nd<\/sup> Infantry Division in South Korea. He also served as a mental health counselor at Fort. Benning, GA, worked as a behavioral science research specialist at the Walter Reed Institute of Research, Heidelberg, Germany, and was appointed as the Non- Commissioned Officer in charge of inpatient social work and psychiatry Service, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, in Washington, D.C. In addition to his active-duty service, Mr. Sharpe recently retired from the 354th Civil Affairs Brigade, U.S. Army Reserve, Riverdale, MD, as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Brigades Economics and Commerce Team.<\/p>

During his military service with the Army Reserve, Sergeant First Class Sharpe was deployed twice overseas, in Operation Joint Forge, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and recently for the global war on terrorism, in which he received the Bronze Star for work completed in the restoration and improvement of public and private financial institutions and banking services in Iraq.<\/p>

Mr. Sharpe earned his B.A. in Sociology from the University of Maryland, his M.A. in international relations and economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and graduate certificates in International Business and Trade and Health Care Management from Georgetown University.<\/p>

Jonathan Wagner, M.H.S.A., Secretary<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>

Johnathan Wagner is a director and process mining lead with the consultant, Roboyo. He works with transformative technologies across the health care industry and has a wide background in veterans\u2019 issues. Previously he was involved with several major Veterans Administrations projects, including strategic planning, health system optimization, and electronic health record modernization.<\/p>

A graduate of Bucknell University, Mr. Wagner holds an M.H.S.A. from Georgetown University and a
